DRAINTECH
The new Draintech facility in Ames is a 25,000+ sf building with office, retail, shop, classroom, and warehouse space.
The building has a precast exterior with steel joists and decking and a rubber membrane roof. This project was done with a design-build approach and negotiated contract where we worked closely with the owner and design team to achieve the final product.
Woodruff self-performed all precast and steel erection, concrete for the building footings, slabs, and exterior work. The 4-acre site has almost 40,000 sf of concrete paving and sidewalks.
