charles city csd softball & baseball complex
This project entailed the construction of a new high school baseball and softball field complex. Construction included a mass earthmoving cut and fill to accommodate the fields on a previously wooded hillside. The new complex features new utility infrastructure, subdrainage system, large retaining walls, fencing, sod and granular infields/outfields, irrigation, bleacher stands, stadium lighting, press boxes, dugouts, sidewalks, and landscaping. Woodruff commenced construction in the fall of 2019 and was completed for the opening of the 2020 baseball and softball seasons.
